The customer
The Association in question, which has been active for more than a century, is dedicated to the promotion, regulation and development of the sport it represents, operating in full compliance with constitutional principles, current regulations and relevant national and international provisions.
Its institutional purposes are based on the principles of internal democracy, equality and equal opportunity, ensuring the exclusion of all forms of discrimination, whether racial, religious or political. In addition, the Association pays special attention to the health protection of sports activities, helping to create a safe and inclusive environment for all practitioners.
The problem
In the process of technological renewal of the IT fleet’s desktop equipment, the client conducted an in-depth technical and economic analysis to identify the most suitable solution for its needs. Among the different options evaluated, operating rental emerged as the preferred choice for procurement.
This mode, now well established over time, has proven to be the most effective in ensuring continuous technological upgrading, which is essential to support daily activities efficiently. In fact, operational leasing allows for devices that are always adapted to the needs of end users, ensuring high performance and a full ability to adapt to rapid changes in the technological landscape.
R1 Lease’s response
In synergy with Eurome, we identified the most suitable product to meet the specific needs of the customer, while outlining the scope of services needed to ensure optimal operation of the infrastructure. Drawing on R1Lease’s expertise, we developed a tailored rental fee designed to fully meet the needs of the end customer, presenting it as an integrated, efficient and competitive solution.
The solution
With the supply of the goods, we also offered the client an advanced energy monitoring and saving system called “PowerMan.” This system, designed to optimize the energy consumption of technology assets, is based on innovative licensing and can reduce energy consumption by up to 75 percent per PC or user.
The results
With this technology, economic savings of about €0.26/kWh are achieved, with a significant decrease in CO2 emissions of about 0.43 kg/kWh. This solution not only contributes to the organization’s sustainability goals, but also improves operational efficiency by reducing the overall environmental footprint of the infrastructure.
